Affiliate Disclosure
Readers should know who pays for what they read. This page explains how Casino Daily earns money from the casinos it covers. It completes the short note at the bottom of every page and our disclaimer, terms of use and description of how we work.
How the site is paid for
Casino Daily is free to read and has no subscriptions. The site is financed by affiliate agreements with online casino operators. When you follow one of our links to a casino and open an account, the operator can pay a commission to Miraspan Media Labs L.L.C., the company that publishes the site. Depending on the agreement, the payment is a fixed fee per new depositing player or a percentage of the net gaming revenue that player generates for the casino.
Two things follow from this. First, we only earn when a reader both signs up and, in most agreements, makes a deposit; clicks alone are worth nothing to us. Second, revenue-share agreements mean an operator's commission can grow when its players lose. We think readers should know that, which is why our reviews spend as much space on withdrawal limits, wagering and self-exclusion tools as on the size of a welcome offer.
What it costs you
Nothing. The commission comes out of the operator's marketing budget. The welcome offer, the wagering requirement and the deposit limits you get through our link are the ones the casino shows for that promotion. If a code or a link gives Canadian players a different package, we say so next to it.
Where affiliate links appear
Commercial links are concentrated in a few places: the casino lists on pages such as real money, new and live dealer casinos; the "Get bonus", "Visit" and "Play at" buttons in our listings and reviews; and links that pass through an address beginning with casinodaily.org/go/. The /go/ address hands your click to the operator together with our partner code.
Links to regulators, to iGaming Ontario, to the Responsible Gambling Council, to ConnexOntario, to payment providers and to our own articles are informational. Nobody pays us for them.
Partners in our lists
In practice, the casinos that appear in our lists are operators we have an agreement with; we do not send readers through a /go/ link to a casino without one. Having an agreement does not let an operator write or approve its review, pay to have a weakness removed, or change a number we report. Reviews describe the licence, the welcome terms, the payment methods available to Canadians and the withdrawal conditions as the operator publishes them, including the points that count against it.
We do not publish welcome offers to readers in Ontario, where bonus advertising is restricted. Ontario players should choose operators registered with iGaming Ontario.
Editorial judgment
What goes into a review is decided by the Casino Daily editors, and the criteria are the ones a Canadian player would check: whether the operator accepts players from your province, whether Interac or iDebit work for deposits and withdrawals, how heavy the wagering is and how quickly money comes out. A commission can be large or small; it does not alter those facts.
Your part
An offer belongs to the operator and can change after we publish. Before you sign up, read the casino's bonus terms and general terms, check that it is lawful for you to play there, and set a budget. You must be 19 or older, or 18 or older in Alberta, Manitoba and Quebec.
Changes to this page
If the way Casino Daily makes money changes in a way that matters to readers, this page is rewritten and its date moves forward.
